Some roles will be official roles in Romanum needed to run the Empire of Romanum effectively. Other roles will be invented by the roleplayer based on whatever role the roleplayer wishes to play.

| Is the owner of the Sim. Only he can play this role. The Emperor is the final word on the laws of the Empire and any judgments required. He has total veto power. However he values and will solicit advice from his Senate, military and the citizens of Romanum and delegate authority and responsibility as he sees fit.

They would handle citizen issues and complaints. Four such roles exist. Senators must be residents of Romanum and own land there.
