Romanum uses XP Leveling. XP Leveling gives players additional power in the four main areas of their meter: Strength, Agility, Constitution and Will. As players play more in Romanum over time they gain in these areas and get XP points. They also get XP points per kills and our Gladiator and Legion leaders can give extra points as deserved:

When a new Romanum DCS player chooses a race (what DCS character they will play), they are assigned initial meter points:

Then with kills and time spent playing in Romanum they will gain more XP points. This will give them greater power and abilities. This is known as XP Levels. All new people start at Level 1.

Based on the chart below, when a player has earned 200 XP points, they will be promoted to Level 2. At level two they will be given 1 extra point for Strength, no extra points for Constitution, no extra points for Agility, and 1 extra point for Will. These extra points affect a player's overall Health, Stamina and Energy capacity.

Once promoted to Level 2, their XP points return to zero. The player needs to then earn 300 XP points to be promoted to Level 3. At Level 3, the player gets 1 extra point for Strength, no extra points for Constitution, no extra points for Agility, and 1 extra point for Will - same as Level 2, but these extra points are added to the previous totals.

As you can see from the chart, achieving higher and higher levels takes even more XP points to get there remembering each time you are promoted to a new level, your XP points return to zero. But the higher XP levels are rewarded with even more points for Strength, Constitution, Agility, and Will and will make you that much more powerful.
